United Way of Southern West Virginia is a non-profit organization focused on improving the common good in our community.

When you give to United Way, your gift goes far, but not far away. Your donation is invested where you live and work -- United Way of Southern West Virginia serves Raleigh, Fayette, Summers, and Nicholas counties.

Our United Way is committed to accountability.  No program is funded until it is rigorously reviewed by our Board of Directors. This ensures that our programs are vital and effective and that your money is well spent.

Our campaign goal is $325,000.00 and our campaign is led this year by Nancy Kissinger.  Nancy is a stong advocate of the United Way and is committed to reaching our goal in order to adequately fund our twenty six agency partners in 2009. Nancy's co-chair is Mr. Bill Baker. Together, they will succeed in taking our United Way to the next level of giving.
